A father’s letters to his daughter

About this Notebook
When Angelica left for Paris, I started writing to her. One letter a week, on paper, sent by post.
This is where those father-daughter letters live now. Letters to a Daughter is a collection of life lessons and personal reflections from a father to his daughter: on growing up and leaving home, on family and memory, on kindness, gratitude and human connection, and on the everyday leadership hidden in the small choices that shape who we become.
New letters every week, in English and Italian.
This notebook is only a collection of scattered thoughts, written down here and there, in the hope that one day they might be useful to you.
Not everything will speak to you the same way.
Sometimes a thought will land hard. Sometimes it will make no sense at all. And sometimes, reading it again years from now, it will say something it doesn’t say today.
I hope they keep you company.
What matters most is that you try, every day, to be a little better than you were yesterday.
And that you leave the world a little kinder than you found it.
Every gesture of yours will carry immense value.
Always.
